Waka Flocka Flame, a rapper and star of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, was arrested on Friday at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport after police found a handgun inside his carry-on.
The rapper, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphurs, was arrested and charged with carrying a weapon in a prohibited place (he also did not have a permit for it). Waka, 28, was then transported to Clayton County Jail, where he stayed for less than three hours before being released on bond.
Take a look at the gun he sent through an airport scanner with 29 rounds PLUS one in the chamber — posted by TSA’s Instagram … yes, TSA has an Instagram.
Shortly after Waka’s arrest Friday the agency posted a pic of the gun/ammo adding the whole thing would have been A-OK had the owner just checked it as baggage.
Waka’s lawyer says his client accidentally grabbed his fiancee’s bag at home with the gun tucked inside — all just a big mistake.

After long absence, Kim reappears with cane

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — After vanishing from the public eye for nearly six weeks, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is back, ending rumors that he was gravely ill, deposed or worse.
Now, a new, albeit smaller, mystery has emerged: Why the cane?
Kim, who was last seen publicly at a Sept. 3 concert, appeared in images released by state media Tuesday smiling broadly and supporting himself with a walking stick while touring the newly built Wisong Scientists Residential District and another new institute in Pyongyang, part of his regular "field guidance" tours. The North didn't say when the visit happened, nor did it address the leader's health.
Kim's appearance allowed the country's massive propaganda apparatus to continue doing what it does best — glorify the third generation of Kim family rule. And it will tamp down, at least for the moment, rampant rumors of a coup and serious health problems.
Before Tuesday, Kim missed several high-profile events that he normally attends and was described in an official documentary last month as experiencing "discomfort."
Archive footage from August showed him overweight and limping, prompting the South Korean media to speculate he had undergone surgery on his ankles. Some experts thought he was suffering from gout or diabetes.
In Washington, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the U.S. didn't have any reason to doubt the authenticity of the latest images, although she added that because of the opacity of the North Korean regime, there's always a question about the reliability of publicly available information.
A South Korean analyst said Kim probably broke his media silence to dispel outside speculation that he wasn't in control and to win sympathy from a domestic audience by creating the image of a leader who works through pain.
The appearance may be a form of "emotional politics meant to appeal to the North Korean people's sympathy," said Cheong Seong-chang, at the private Sejong Institute in South Korea.
Kim's father, Kim Jong Il, who reportedly suffered a stroke in 2008 before dying of a heart attack in late 2011, was seen limping but never with a walking stick, said Lim Byeong Cheol, a spokesman from Seoul's Unification Ministry. Kim Jong Un's grandfather, Kim Il Sung, occasionally used a cane when he got too old to walk steep roads, according to another ministry official, who did not want to be named citing office rules.
Cheong said Kim appeared in the recently released images to have lost about 10 kilograms (22 pounds) compared to pictures from May. He speculated that since Kim was holding a cane on his left side he may have had surgery on his left ankle.
Kim "appears to want to show people that he's doing fine, though he's indeed still having some discomfort. If he hadn't done so, excessive speculation would have continued to flare up and anxiety among North Korean residents would have grown and calls by outsiders for contingency plans on dealing with North Korea would have gotten momentum," Cheong said.
The South Korean government has all along seen no signals of any major problems.
In deciding to resume his public activity before fully recovering from his condition, Kim was looking to quickly quell rumors that his health problems were serious enough to threaten his status as North Korean leader, said Lim, the government spokesman.
"The cane aside, he looked to be in good health," Lim said.
The recent absence was, in part, "probably an attention-getting device — and it certainly works," Bruce Cumings, an expert on Korea at the University of Chicago, said in an email.
"The North has been on a diplomatic offensive in Europe and elsewhere, it feels isolated — and is, if we're talking about relations with Washington," he wrote. "All this puts them back on the front page."

Read This Letter Mitt Romney Wrote to the Love of His Life

Not only is Mitt Romney a class act, he also has a way with words.
The former Massachusetts governor and 2012 Republican presidential nominee has proven this time and time again, which is undoubtedly why many Americans say that if the 2012 election were held today, they would vote for him instead of Obama.

Of course, we suspect that poll result has something to do with Obama’s policies, too. But it cannot be denied that Romney knows how to say what’s in his heart and on his mind when it comes to explaining America’s greatness or Barack Obama’s failures.
As it turns out, he has quite a way with words when it comes to his personal life as well, as a recent letter from Romney to his wife Ann on the occasion of the opening of the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases demonstrates.
Romney, the son of popular former Governor George Romney, who was born and raised in Michigan, received a warm welcome from the crowd at the rally.
But he drew the biggest round of applause when he spoke about how tough times have been for America over the past two years, since President Obama was reelected, saying that “It’s time for him to apologize to America.”
Romney is right.  Obama does need to apologize to America because he has sabotaged our economy, has continuously attacked our rights and liberty, and has put our nation in danger.
Our nation faces danger mostly from the wide open and unenforced border, along with the rise of the violently radical Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
Obama has also diminished the standing of the US on the world stage.  Our enemies and rivals don’t fear us, our allies don’t trust us, and nobody respects us anymore.
It is time for Republicans to take back control of the Senate, hold onto the House, and spend the next two years holding Obama accountable for his disastrous policies and scandalous behavior.

BREAKING: Professor Who Studied Ebola for 11 Years Makes Horrifying Announcement [DETAILS]

A Purdue University professor says that while Ebola has so far only been been proven to be transmitted through bodily fluids, it could become airborne at virtually any time.

Dr. David Sanders has studied how the Ebola virus enters human cells since 2003. He told WRTV that the virus is “primed” to become airborne, making it even more likely that anyone with Ebola travelling by plane could infect fellow passengers (H/T Young Conservatives).

“It can enter the lung from the airway side,” Sanders told WRTV. “So this argues that Ebola is primed to have respiratory transmission.”
He said that, while certainly unproven, the idea of airborne transmission is hardly far-fetched. “We need to be taking this into consideration,” Sanders said. “What if? This is not a crazy, ‘What if?’ This is not a wild, ‘What if?’”
Sanders said it’s not possible to predict when the virus could go airborne or even know for sure that it will. But the longer the virus is allowed to spread and mutate, the more likely it is to develop an airborne strain.

The professor argued that suppressing the current outbreak in West Africa is therefore critical to prevent a worldwide pandemic of Ebola virus, but he also said it’s unlikely that most Americans are in danger from the virus — at least for now.
In case anyone needed one, Dr. Sanders has provided yet another great reason both to impose a temporary ban on flights from West Africa to the United States and to secure the nation’s southern border against possible Ebola-infected individuals crossing illegally into the country in search of effective treatment.
Good luck getting that message through to this president, however.
